GETTING INVOLVED

Club Meetings

Wednesdays

6:00 PM

Every Wednesday at 6 PM, come catch up with DramaTech's leadership as they update you on club business and how to get involved!

Let's Try This! Improv Comedy

Mondays

7-9 PM

Saturdays

11 AM - 1 PM

DramaTech Theatre’s student-run resident improv troupe. As our name suggests, we encourage our members to try everything from short-form games to long-form sets to what-in-the-world-was-that?, and we strive to make each other feel confident and supported while doing so. As a learning troupe, we endeavor to teach the basics and give our members the freedom and resources to experiment with form and style. Our number one commitment, though, is to give our members and our audiences a community based around entertainment and fun!

Newbie Workshops

Each year we have an eight-week cycle of newbie workshops to teach basics of improv and to help new improvisers integrate and learn how to perform with the troupe. Newbie Workshops are Mondays from 7PM-9PM during the fall and will culminate with the eagerly anticipated Newbie Graduation Show!

For more information, visit our website or or email us at ltt@dramatech.org.  Also, find us on Facebook and Twitter.

DramaTech Tap Troupe

Sundays

11 AM - 1 PM

Drama Tech Tap Troupe (DT3) is DramaTech’s newest addition, bringing together people across campus to learn to tap! It doesn’t matter if you are brand new to tap or a master, DT3 accommodates everyone. Learn tap dancing lingo, steps, and routines while getting an amazing cardio work out and crazy strong calfs, ankles and abs.

Want to know if DT3 is right for you? Email DramaTechTapTroupe@DramaTech.org  or just show up to a rehearsal! No pressure, no worries, just tap!

Technical Theatre

Work Parties @ Varying Times

Want to help or learn set, lights, sound, props, sound, costumes, projections, or stage management? Crew calls appear on our website, and assistants don't need any experience! Check out the breakdown of each department and submit to join the tech crew of our fall shows at https://dramatech.org/tech-theatre/.

Auditions

Varying Times

Interested in being on our stage? DramaTech holds auditions for plays and musicals once at the beginning of each semester (fall, spring, and summer). Audition requirements are usually a 1-2 minute monologue, but show-specific requirements and more information can be found on dramatech.org/upcoming-auditions.
